VMF Standards v1.0

Overview

The Value Management Framework (VMF) establishes the global modernization standards used by organizations to improve clarity, alignment, flow, and value realization.

The Four VMF Pillars

Observe — Sense, discover, and understand the environment.

Aim — Decide, align, and set direction.

Engage — Act, coordinate, and deliver.

Realize — Measure, validate, and confirm value.

The Modernization Cycle

Modernization is a continuous parallel cycle:

Observe → Aim → Engage → Realize → Observe

Matrix Interaction Model (12 Interactions)

This foundational model uses Teams A, B, C, and D to teach bi-directional communication as a core VMF value.

Governance

The Value Management Foundation maintains VMF Standards, research, publications, updates, and revisions. VMF does not issue certifications — that responsibility belongs to the Value Management Institute (VMI).
